In my experience over the years of working with student stage lighting crews, from 5th graders to 12th graders, since 1997, I have found that students who work in technical theatre are some of the most highly motivated, dedicated, energetic, team-oriented, professional-acting and technically-proficient employees you can hope to hire.

Lead Crew

Lead Crew are technicians that have had a year or more experience in technical theatre. They can Stage Manage, operate a light board, sound board and/or followspot, hang and focus lights, set up a sound system, balance a counterweight system, construct and repair sets, costumes and props, depending on their specialty.

$10.00/hr
Paid directly to the crew members.

Running Crew

Running Crew have had less than a year’s experience in technical theatre, but they are dedicated, highly motivated, quick learners, and are ready to be put to work!

$8.00/hr
Paid directly to the crew members.
