In my experience over the years of working with student stage lighting crews, from 5th graders to 12th graders, since 1997, I have found that students who work in technical theatre are some of the most highly motivated, dedicated, energetic, team-oriented, professional-acting and technically-proficient employees you can hope to hire.

Lead Crew

Lead Crew are technicians that have had two or more years' experience in technical theatre. They can Stage Manage, operate a light board, sound board and/or followspot, hang and focus lights, set up a sound system, balance a counterweight system, construct and repair sets, costumes and props, depending on their specialty.

$15.00/hr
Paid directly to the crew members.

Running Crew

Running Crew have had less than two years' experience in technical theatre, but they are dedicated, highly motivated, quick learners, and are ready to be put to work!

$12.00/hr
Paid directly to the crew members.
